Overview
Support general and special education teachers by assisting individual students or small groups in classroom and resource settings. Contribute to data collection on student performance and reinforce learning with tailored strategies. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to help students achieve educational goals and maintain a safe, positive learning environment. This role offers on-site, part-time contract work in a collaborative school community.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build individualized supports for students in small groups to reinforce material
- 2Design and reinforce strategies based on students needs in collaboration with teachers
- 3Lead supervision during drills, assemblies, lunch, and field trips to ensure safety
- 4Ship and organize instructional materials and equipment for classroom activities
- 5Own data collection related to student performance across academic and behavioral domains
- 6Drive accurate record keeping in line with district policies
- 7Manage connections with substitute teachers and support staff during absences
- 8Monitor daily schedules and behavior plans to maintain a positive learning environment
- 9Debug and troubleshoot educational technology usage in classrooms
- 10Assist students with personal care and self-help skills as needed

- 1High School Diploma/GED required
- 2Paraprofessional Assessment completed successfully
- 3Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card Level One IVP
- 4Background checks as required by district policies
- 5Travel between campuses and light lifting up to 25 pounds
