Overview
Compliance Management International seeks an experienced Site Safety & Health Officer to lead safety initiatives for a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers wastewater treatment construction project in Havertown PA. What You'll Do11
- 1Serve as the project's designated Site Safety & Health Officer
- 2Implement and enforce the project Accident Prevention Plan
- 3Ensure compliance with USACE EM 385-1-1 OSHA regulations
- 4Perform daily site safety inspections and document findings
- 5Identify hazards and work with project teams to implement corrective actions
- 6Review and support Activity Hazard Analyses before work begins
- 7Conduct safety meetings orientations and toolbox talks
- 8Monitor subcontractor safety performance and high-risk construction activities
- 9Verify employee training certifications and required safety documentation
- 10Support incident near-miss and hazard investigations
- 11Maintain required USACE safety records reports and documentation
Requirements8
- 1Minimum 5 years of continuous construction safety experience supervising safety programs
- 25 years of documented continuing safety education training
- 3Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction training with documentation
- 4Current First Aid CPR AED certification
- 540-Hour HAZWOPER certification with current 8-hour refresher
- 6EM 385-1-1 training and/or experience highly preferred
- 7Previous USACE federal or government construction experience
- 8Experience with wastewater water treatment civil utility or heavy construction
