Safety Coordinator, Construction & OSHA Compliance
Overview
You will own safety programs for a 24-month data center project in Lebanon, Indiana, overseeing 1-2 years of construction safety experience. You'll enforce OSHA standards and federal regulations while building a behavior-based safety culture. Working onsite with a top-ranked commercial builder, you'll train crews, inspect hazards, and lead incident investigations. What You'll Do8
- 1Develop and enforce OSHA-compliant safety plans across all project phases, conducting daily site inspections.
- 2Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions within the first 90 days.
- 3Train employees on OSHA 30 and First Aid standards, adapting to evolving site conditions.
- 4Drive a behavior-based safety culture by coaching workers and giving real-time feedback.
- 5Manage hazard assessments and analyze incident data to prevent injuries and equipment failures.
- 6Coordinate emergency response plans and inspect safety equipment for compliance.
- 7Collaborate with the safety committee and deliver Hammertech-based training management.
- 8Maintain and improve safety incentive programs that reward safe behaviors and results.
Requirements8
- 11-2 years of construction safety experience on large commercial or industrial projects.
- 2OSHA 30 and First Aid certification within the first month of employment.
- 3Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and Hammertech.
- 5Knowledge of federal, state, and local construction safety regulations.
- 6Ability to work at heights over 30 feet and lift 50 lbs.
- 7Willingness to work onsite in Lebanon, Indiana, for the 24-month project.
- 8Valid driver's license and ability to be insured on company policy.
