Overview
As Site Leader, you will own the Phoenix Protective Systems business, driving strategy and delivering on revenue and profitability targets at our Phoenix, AZ site. Leading a cross-functional team of 200+ across engineering, operations, and program management, you will integrate EVMS, KPIs, and AS9100 standards to meet defense contracts. You will shape a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and customer focus, while collaborating with corporate stakeholders. What You'll Do10
- 1Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and market share objectives for the Phoenix site.
- 2Lead the site's cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, operations, and quality, to meet business goals and delivery schedules.
- 3Own P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, with monthly reporting to corporate leadership.
- 4Drive continuous improvement across operations, manufacturing, and new product development, leveraging Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- 5Build strong customer and supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with defense and aviation quality standards like FAA and AS9100.
- 6Champion a safety-first culture, promoting SHE initiatives and maintaining an injury-free work environment.
- 7Identify and mitigate program risks, implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- 8Develop and retain top talent, including succession planning and coaching, to build a high-performing site team.
- 9Collaborate with matrixed functional leaders to balance corporate governance and site autonomy.
- 10Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements, including security clearances.
Requirements10
- 1US Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- 2Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field with 12+ years relevant experience.
- 35+ years in business operations management, with P&L responsibility.
- 45+ years in program/project management, using EVMS and KPIs.
- 53+ years in manufacturing/production leadership within the Aerospace & Defense industry.
- 65+ years leading cross-functional teams and managing talent.
- 7Proven ability to plan, schedule, and allocate resources to meet business objectives.
- 8Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and forecasts.
- 9Ability to navigate a matrix organization with direct and dotted-line reporting.
- 10Experience with continuous improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
