Overview

Own program execution for mission-critical systems on spacecraft, launch vehicles, and hypersonics. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver cost, schedule, and technical objectives. Work with Aerospace and Systems Engineering teams in a hands-on role. This position drives customer relationships and proposal development. You will shape the roadmap for complex mechanical and pyrotechnic components.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Develop long-term customer relationships through conference calls, technical interchange meetings, and design reviews.
  • 2Execute project planning to determine cost, schedules, and resource needs based on technical objectives.
  • 3Track project cost, schedule, and technical progress to meet program goals.
  • 4Ensure proper documentation of System Requirements and Contract Deliverables.
  • 5Lead proposal writing and support new business meetings.
  • 6Drive design reviews and technical interchange meetings with customers.
  • 7Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration to resolve technical challenges.
  • 8Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing to meet program milestones.

Requirements6

  • 15+ years engineering experience with Aerospace or Systems Engineering.
  • 22+ years managing teams or projects.
  • 3B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • 4M.S. or MBA preferred.
  • 5Proven ability to develop, plan, and execute projects.
  • 6U.S. citizen able to obtain DoD SECRET clearance.
