Overview

Lead planning execution delivery of complex aerospace and defense programs integrating engineering manufacturing quality and customer requirements. Guide cross-functional engineering teams manage program performance coordinate stakeholder communication and ensure technical schedule and contractual commitments are met. Support mission-critical capabilities and advance key company programs.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Lead cross-functional engineering teams in design development analysis and testing of mechanical and pyrotechnic components and systems
  • 2Interface with customers and internal leadership to maintain clear communication and alignment
  • 3Support business development through proposal writing and participation in new business meetings
  • 4Ensure complete and accurate documentation of engineering activities including drawings reports and presentations
  • 5Track program performance using key metrics and proactively identify risks and mitigation actions
  • 6Support technical reviews and program milestone reviews
  • 7Facilitate program planning technical decision-making and change management across engineering teams
  • 8Manage scope cost schedule and technical performance while balancing competing priorities
  • 9Coordinate proposal efforts capture activities and transition from business development to program execution
  • 10Partner with supply chain manufacturing quality assurance contracts and finance to ensure successful program delivery
  • 11Perform other related duties as needed

Requirements8

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering aerospace engineering or a related technical field
  • 2At least 5 years of engineering experience including a minimum of 2 years in aerospace engineering or systems engineering
  • 3Demonstrated ability to develop plan and execute projects
  • 4Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
  • 5Proven record of managing cost schedule scope and technical risks
  • 6Master’s degree in a related technical field or MBA preferred
  • 7At least 2 years of experience managing complex technical programs in defense aerospace or government technology sectors
  • 8U.S. person status under export control laws including U.S. citizens nationals lawful permanent residents refugees and asylees
