What You'll Do18
- 1Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion
- 2Drive program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives
- 3Manage cost schedule and technical performance of programs
- 4Travel regularly including one multi-day trip per month
- 5Participate in contract negotiation and preparation
- 6Act as primary customer contact for program activities
- 7Establish design concepts and engineering efforts for product research development integration and test
- 8Expand product lines with customer input
- 9Set milestones monitor schedules identify program problems and obtain solutions
- 10Lead employees across technical manufacturing and administrative areas
- 11Improve processes and establish new systems using conceptual reasoning
- 12Analyze root causes of problems and recommend solutions
- 13Recommend tactics that directly impact business results
- 14Influence leadership and communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- 15Develop educational and training goals for staff
- 16Provide guidance coaching and training to colleagues
- 17Recommend new products processes policies standards or operating plans
- 18Obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance as required
Requirements12
- 1Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline with minimum 9 years of prior Program Management experience
- 2Graduate Degree with minimum 7 years of prior Program Management experience
- 3Minimum 13 years of prior Program Management experience preferred
- 4Strong problem-solving and innovation skills
- 5Mastery level knowledge within Program Management
- 6Formal training in Project Management with PMP certification
- 7Experience with Earned Value Management System concepts
- 8Experience in all phases of project and program management from proposal to closeout
- 9Integrated Project Team leadership role
- 10Aerospace or defense development experience
- 11Experience with liquid solid or cold gas propulsion systems
- 12Experience with warheads or other energetic systems
Salary Insight
$128 - $236k per year
