Senior Manager, Physical Security (Defense Manufacturing)
Overview
You will own enterprise security operations across multiple critical defense manufacturing sites. 10+ years of physical security experience and 5+ years leading security supervisors and officers prepare you to architect a world-class program from the ground up. You will build and scale a proprietary security officer program, manage budgets, and coordinate with emergency services, with direct impact on national security. Working with Armed and Unarmed officer teams, you will enforce standards and ensure operational readiness in a rapidly scaling environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead physical security operations across multiple sites, overseeing Armed and Unarmed security programs to ensure consistent execution of enterprise standards.
- 2Build and scale Castelion's proprietary security officer program from scratch, covering organizational structure, staffing models, recruiting, training, and scheduling.
- 3Hire, develop, and lead Physical Security Supervisors and Officers, establishing performance standards, training requirements, and accountability metrics.
- 4Implement physical security standards for Access Control, Patrol Operations, Incident Response, and Visitor Management, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- 5Serve as senior operational leader, managing security budgets and resources, and supporting new-site security implementation.
- 6Coordinate with internal stakeholders and emergency services to provide leadership continuity across the security organization.
- 7Design post orders, uniforms, and equipment standards for security teams, ensuring operational readiness.
- 8Drive incident response and emergency protocols, maintaining compliance with State Licensing requirements.
Requirements10
- 110+ years of professional physical security experience, including 5+ years leading security operations and officer teams.
- 2Proven track record building or scaling security operations, including staffing models and performance management.
- 3Experience managing Armed and Unarmed security programs with responsibility for compliance and training.
- 4Demonstrated ability to develop security standards and procedures across multiple sites or complex facilities.
- 5Strong leadership and program management skills, with ability to execute security initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- 6Experience in aerospace, defense, cleared facilities, or critical infrastructure is preferred.
- 7Working knowledge of State-Level security licensing and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
- 8Professional certification such as CPP or PSP is a plus.
- 9Ability to travel frequently by air and ground, and conduct site assessments in industrial environments.
- 10Must pass background investigation and obtain at minimum a Secret Clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
