What You'll Do11
- 1Lead a team of technicians supporting military training systems at US Army sites worldwide
- 2Install and configure computer hardware peripherals and network cabling
- 3Maintain and troubleshoot low voltage electronic security components
- 4Evaluate audiovisual systems for compliance with customer requirements
- 5Provide training to customer personnel and local staff
- 6Support COTS software and hardware configurations
- 7Perform technical analysis and implement deployment plans
- 8Collaborate with vendors for product evaluation and issue resolution
- 9Conduct site surveys and manages field installations
- 10Coordinate travel logistics and act as primary contact on-site
- 11Manage junior personnel and ensure quality output
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field
- 25-8 years of experience in computer system networking
- 3Advanced knowledge of servers routers switches and cabling
- 4Network certifications such as Cisco or VMware
- 5Secret security clearance or ability to obtain within 60 days
- 6U.S. citizenship required
- 7Security+ certification or equivalent
- 8Master’s degree preferred in information technology
- 9Over 8 years of experience in network engineering
- 10Military background or affiliation with defense organizations
- 11Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hand power tools
