Overview
We seek an experienced technician to install and maintain commercial electronic security systems across Phoenix. This role involves deploying CCTV access control intrusion detection and structured cabling while ensuring compliance with safety standards. What You'll Do11
- 1Install and terminate access control systems such as card readers electric strikes magnetic locks door contacts request to exit devices and door controllers
- 2Configure IP based CCTV camera systems NVRs and associated equipment
- 3Pull route terminate label and test Cat5e Cat6 Cat6A and fiber optic cabling
- 4Construct cable pathways J hooks conduit cable trays and support systems
- 5Mount cameras access control devices panels and network equipment
- 6Interpret blueprints wiring diagrams and project drawings
- 7Conduct system testing troubleshooting and basic commissioning
- 8Document and label installed systems
- 9Follow OSHA safety standards and customer site requirements
- 10Maintain clean organized work area
- 11Collaborate with project managers supervisors and customers
Requirements11
- 12+ years installing CCTV and access control systems
- 2Experience with commercial low voltage installations
- 3Ability to terminate and test structured cabling
- 4Proficiency reading construction drawings and wiring diagrams
- 5Valid driver"s license with reliable transportation
- 6Background check and drug screening if required
- 7OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- 8Lift certification or experience operating scissor lifts
- 9Fiber optic termination experience
- 10Physical requirements lifting up to 50 pounds standing bending kneeling climbing ladders
- 11Work indoors outdoors in Arizona weather occasional overtime weekends
