Overview
Lead silicon test engineer at Lumilens to develop test solutions for silicon photonics and semiconductor products. Own test infrastructure across characterization wafer sort and final test ensuring robust coverage high product quality and efficient manufacturing at scale. Drive test optimization yield improvement and support NPI transitions into high-volume production.
What You'll Do13
- 1Develop and execute silicon test solutions from characterization through wafer sort and final test
- 2Create and maintain ATE test programs on platforms such as Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne Translate
- 3Design and DFT requirements into scalable production-ready test solutions
- 4Support new product introduction ensure smooth transition into high-volume manufacturing
- 5Optimize test flows to improve coverage reduce test time and lower cost of test
- 6Analyze yield and test data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement
- 7Debug test failures and identify root causes across product test and process
- 8Strengthen screening coverage to ensure only high-quality devices ship to customers
- 9Partner closely with design product and process engineering teams to ensure testability is built in early
- 10Work with operations teams to ensure test readiness for production ramps
- 11Contribute to development of high-speed test hardware and interfaces for photonics devices
- 12Ensure test solutions meet performance requirements for high-speed and mixed-signal applications
- 13Support improvements in test methodologies as product complexity increases
Requirements6
- 18–12+ years experience in semiconductor or silicon photonics test engineering
- 2Strong experience with ATE platforms such as Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne
- 3Background in silicon validation production test DFT/DFM and high-speed or mixed-signal testing
- 4Proficiency in scripting programming C C++ Python or similar and Linux-based environments
- 5Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work through complex technical challenges
- 6Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced evolving environment
