Senior Engineer Test Engineering Product Development
Overview
Senior Engineer leads test solution development for precision digital and mixed signal products ensuring first silicon verification and manufacturing readiness. You will design cost effective test hardware software across multiple sites while collaborating with layout engineers and manufacturing teams. This role drives innovation in automotive test systems and offers partial telecommute flexibility.
What You'll Do11
- 1Design and develop high performance test solutions for first silicon verification and manufacturing of precision digital and mixed signal products
- 2Create multi site cost effective test hardware software for characterization and production wafer probe testing
- 3Implement test schematics and work with layout engineers to design PCB multi site test hardware
- 4Debug test programs and correlate production solutions to engineering bench measurements
- 5Maintain production yield and quality while improving test costs and resolving post release issues
- 6Participate in new product development teams to evaluate future test systems
- 7Develop design for test plans and translate simulation tests to Automatic Test Equipment platforms
- 8Manage project schedules aligned with product introduction and release
- 9Engage manufacturing to ensure quality and address product test problems
- 10Utilize Exensio and SAS JMP for statistical analysis of characterization and production data
- 11Perform ATE and bench debugging of automotive customer returns to meet quality requirements
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering with 3 years experience in product and test engineering for analog or mixed signal integrated circuits
- 2Expertise with C/C++ and scripting languages on Linux systems for analog digital devices
- 3Proven experience designing and debugging custom PCB hardware interfacing with Advantest V93000 ATE
- 4Demonstrated ability to develop functional and electrical tests using Verilog simulation environments
- 5Knowledge of circuit design silicon processing and electronic reliability principles
