Shipper and Receiver, Electrical Equipment Logistics
Overview
You own the flow of electrical equipment and materials in and out of our Phoenix facility, ensuring exact counts and zero damage. You'll coordinate with Rental Technicians to stage, organize, and track transformers, switchgear, cable, and more. Your work keeps our rental fleet ready for customers across the Americas. This role combines hands-on forklift work with precise documentation, offering a path to grow within a 1,600-person energy solutions company.
What You'll Do8
- 1Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage, verifying against packing slips and purchase orders.
- 2Prepare and package outgoing rental and sales equipment, selecting correct materials and securing loads for transit.
- 3Document shipping and receiving transactions in the ERP system, updating inventory counts in real time.
- 4Label and organize materials and equipment in the warehouse and yard, maintaining clear zones for fast retrieval.
- 5Assist in loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and other equipment, following safety protocols.
- 6Support rental equipment staging, inventory counts, and movement between warehouse and yard.
- 7Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and common areas, keeping aisles clear and tools stored.
- 8Inspect transformers, switchgear, cable, and other electrical components for visible damage on arrival.
Requirements8
- 11+ years in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- 2Forklift certification with demonstrated safe operation.
- 3Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for full shifts.
- 4Experience with inventory software or barcode scanning systems.
- 5High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6Strong attention to detail for accurate counts and paperwork.
- 7Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- 8Basic computer skills for data entry in the ERP system.
