Overview
You will coordinate daily shipping and receiving in a shop-like warehouse, ensuring accurate documentation and timely order fulfillment. You will assemble and package installation kits, process shipments through UPS WorldShip, and support inventory control with RF scanners. You will work closely with customer service and management to resolve discrepancies and meet deadlines. This role offers steady weekday hours, exposure to Oracle or SAP ERP systems, and the chance to contribute to smooth operations.
What You'll Do10
- 1Assemble and package installation kits accurately according to order specs, using RF scanners to verify components.
- 2Organize and prepare all shipping paperwork, including packing lists, bills of lading, and express receipts for UPS and FedEx.
- 3Process shipments using UPS WorldShip and other carrier systems, creating labels and tracking orders.
- 4Check in incoming materials, verify quantities and documentation, and update ERP systems like Oracle or SAP.
- 5Perform data entry for shipments, inventory movements, and order status with high accuracy.
- 6Operate RF scanners to pick, pack, and verify orders, supporting inventory control counts.
- 7Handle materials safely, including lifting, moving, and staging products for shipment.
- 8Monitor shipments for quality or accuracy issues and report them to management promptly.
- 9Communicate discrepancies with incoming or outgoing orders to the customer service team for resolution.
- 10Support LTL shipping processes, including documentation and coordination with carriers.
Requirements10
- 12+ years in shipping and receiving in a warehouse or shop environment.
- 2Proficiency with UPS and FedEx shipping software and protocols.
- 3Hands-on experience using UPS WorldShip or similar shipping platforms.
- 4Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP for order processing.
- 5Accurate data entry skills for shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
- 6Experience using RF scanners for picking, packing, and inventory control.
- 7Knowledge of inventory control practices, including counting, tracking, and organizing stock.
- 8Experience with LTL (less-than-truckload) shipping processes.
- 9Ability to perform kitting activities, assembling parts into complete kits.
- 10Material handling skills, including safely moving, staging, and packaging products.
