Service Technician Level 4
Overview
Level 4 technician who performs vehicle repair and maintenance while ensuring customer service excellence. This role focuses on delivering high-quality work with efficiency and accuracy.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform assigned work with excellence and high quality as efficiently as possible
- 2Receive work orders and perform assigned tasks as required
- 3Inventory and maintain issued and required company service tools in safe condition
- 4Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts for repairs
- 5Inspect assigned vehicles thoroughly to identify condition and safety items requiring attention
- 6Accurately track time spent on each job using NetSuite and record times in various segments
- 7Write clear descriptions of repairs using the three C method
- 8Report problems to Service Management regarding delays or issues
- 9Maintain proper housekeeping of work areas and tools
- 10Verify security of all supplies and parts
- 11Conform with all regulations policies and safety rules using appropriate equipment
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma and Class B Commercial Driver’s License with passenger endorsement
- 2Air-Brake requirement and NFPA 70 – High Voltage Safety Certification (E.V.)
- 3Obtain Blue-Bird Associate Level Certification (1-Year)
- 4EPA 609 Certification
- 5CNG Fuel System Inspection Certification (one of two options)
- 6ASE Certification (F-1)
- 7NGVI Certification
- 8Wheelchair Training
- 9Braun Ricon A/C Training
- 10MCC/Carrier Valeo Trans-Air ACT Preferred Education
- 116+ Years Professional Heavy Duty Automotive Mechanics Experience
