Automotive Service Technician B Level
Overview
Drive daily service excellence and customer satisfaction across our Baltimore location. The B Level Service Technician will own routine repairs and deliver high-quality service while maintaining Asbury standards. This role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
What You'll Do12
- 1Perform routine repairs including light engine work transmissions clutches drive shafts electrical systems starters alternators HVAC steering suspension systems
- 2Document all work and recommended actions on assigned repair orders
- 3Conduct multi-point inspections and communicate findings with service advisors
- 4Complete diagnostic and repair processes while adhering to time constraints
- 5Maintain technician proficiency according to Asbury guidelines
- 6Execute preventive maintenance and routine services
- 7Utilize product and technical training as directed by management
- 8Participate in manufacturer training programs to enhance expertise
- 9Ensure CSI Customer Satisfaction Index meets departmental targets
- 10Process warranty repairs and file claims accurately
- 11Report safety concerns and maintain vehicle cleanliness upon return
- 12Stay current with federal state and local regulations including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know
Requirements7
- 118 years or older with ASE certification and manufacturer credentials
- 2Basic tool set and strong mechanical aptitude
- 3Team player capable of repetitive complex tasks
- 4Valid driver's license and ability to pass background/drug screening
- 5Minimum 5 years automotive service experience
- 6Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- 7Commitment to regulatory compliance and professional development
