What You'll Do9
- 1Diagnose and repair brake hydraulic systems exhaust fuel ignition and electrical components suspension alignments air conditioning computers
- 2Explain technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders
- 3Stay current with evolving automotive technology through paid training
- 4Assist and train junior technicians and mechanics
- 5Obtain and maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least three categories within two years
- 6Drive scalable solutions that improve shop efficiency
- 7Own complex repair projects and meet aggressive service targets
- 8Collaborate with cross‑functional crews to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- 9Mentor new hires and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements8
- 1Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles
- 2Proven expertise in brakes hydraulics steering suspension alignments tire repair
- 3Current federal state and local licenses where required
- 4Strong reading writing and math abilities
- 53+ years automotive repair experience or vocational program completion
- 6A.S.E. certification in at least one category A1‑A8 (L1 acceptable)
- 7Certification in relevant state/local licensing
- 8Ability to convey technical details clearly to non‑technical audiences
