You will own maintenance and repair operations for a large residential property in Dallas, ensuring all buildings, grounds, and amenities meet Greystar's standards. You will work with a team of technicians and report to the maintenance supervisor, handling service requests and make-ready processes. What You'll Do9

  • 1Diagnose and repair defects from resident service requests and preventive maintenance, using HVAC and electrical systems.
  • 2Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punching lists, and coordinating with vendors.
  • 3Track and manage maintenance inventory, ordering supplies and tools as needed.
  • 4Document all service requests and maintenance work accurately for tracking.
  • 5Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities, including pressure washing and painting.
  • 6Reduce costs by repairing parts instead of replacing, and using tools correctly.
  • 7Follow safety protocols, attend safety meetings, and complete OSHA training.
  • 8Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify quality and compliance.
  • 9Participate in property inspections to identify safety risks and maintenance needs.

Requirements8

  • 1EPA Type I and II or Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
  • 2All certifications required by state and local jurisdictions.
  • 3Valid driver's license for operating a golf cart on property.
  • 4Ability to lift, carry, or maneuver up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
  • 5Capability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and crawl in confined areas.
  • 6Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • 7Comfort working inside and outside in all weather conditions.
  • 8Ability to travel occasionally for training or to assist other properties.
