What You'll Do9

  • 1Make ready vacant apartments within 5 business days by repairing drywall, painting, replacing fixtures, and troubleshooting appliances.
  • 2Diagnose and fix plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and water heater problems, using plumbing tools and pipe wrenches.
  • 3Service HVAC systems, including AC units and heat pumps, performing routine checks and repairs to EPA 608 standards.
  • 4Complete electrical repairs, from outlet and switch replacement to troubleshooting circuit breakers, ensuring code compliance.
  • 5Handle carpentry tasks, such as repairing doors, cabinets, and trim, to maintain property aesthetics.
  • 6Perform groundskeeping and amenity upkeep, including pool maintenance, landscaping, and snow removal, to ensure curb appeal.
  • 7Respond to after-hours emergencies within 30 minutes by phone and 2 hours on-site, addressing issues like burst pipes or power outages.
  • 8Maintain inventory of supplies and tools, ordering parts as needed to minimize downtime.
  • 9Document all work orders and inspections using property management software, ensuring accurate records.

  • 12+ years of multi-family or commercial maintenance experience.
  • 2High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3EPA 608 Certification (Type I + Type II or Universal).
