Service Manager - Electrical Contracting
Overview
Enterprise Electrical seeks a Service Manager to lead electrical service operations for a branch or region. The manager oversees technicians coordinators and administrative support while driving productivity and profitability. What You'll Do12
- 1Lead and manage daily electrical service operations including technicians coordinators and administrators
- 2Develop and execute service division strategy focused on revenue growth client retention and margin performance
- 3Build and maintain strong client relationships including service agreement customers
- 4Manage scheduling dispatch operations and workforce productivity
- 5Oversee service agreement programs preventive maintenance contracts and on-call services
- 6Monitor and manage service financial performance including P&L pricing labor efficiency and cost control
- 7Ensure compliance with licensing requirements NEC OSHA and company safety standards
- 8Recruit develop and retain service team talent to support growth
- 9Establish and monitor service KPIs such as response time completion rates and customer satisfaction
- 10Partner with project operations and preconstruction teams to identify service-to-project transition opportunities
- 11Oversee service fleet tools equipment and material logistics
- 12Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery scalability and customer experience

- 1Strong knowledge of electrical service operations maintenance practices and service agreement program management
- 2Proven leadership experience managing service teams technicians and support staff
- 3Demonstrated financial acumen including experience managing service P&L pricing labor efficiency and cost control
- 4Excellent client relationship management skills with ability to retain customers expand service agreements and support business growth
- 5Deep understanding of state licensing requirements NEC OSHA and service-related safety standards
- 6Advanced ability to manage technician scheduling dispatch operations and workforce utilization
- 7Strong analytical and problem solving skills using operational and financial data
- 8Experience developing and monitoring KPIs dashboards and service performance metrics
- 9Ability to lead in fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- 10Commitment to continuous improvement operational scalability and high-quality service outcomes
- 11Minimum 7 to 10 years electrical service operations experience
- 12Minimum 3 to 5 years leadership experience managing service teams or field personnel
- 13Proven experience leading high volume service operations including scheduling dispatch and workforce utilization
- 14Track record of client relationship management service agreement growth issue resolution and repeat business
