What You'll Do8

  • 1Own day-to-day service operations, directing scheduling, dispatching, and workforce utilization to optimize productivity and customer response.
  • 2Drive revenue growth through retention, upselling, and cross-selling, while managing gross margin and labor efficiency.
  • 3Lead and mentor field technicians and support staff, recruiting and onboarding top talent.
  • 4Implement operational processes that improve service delivery and profitability, tracking KPIs like backlog and technician utilization.
  • 5Manage the department P&L, controlling costs for inventory, fleet, and equipment.
  • 6Resolve escalated customer issues, building strong relationships and supporting contract renewals.
  • 7Enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
  • 8Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions to develop teams and improve retention.

Requirements8

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in service operations, construction, or field service management.
  • 2Class B general license required or willingness to obtain it.
  • 3Proven track record managing teams and owning budgets and profitability.
  • 4Experience with fire protection, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical trades preferred.
  • 5Knowledge of dispatching, scheduling, and field operations.
  • 6Experience with ERP, CRM, or field service management software.
  • 7Strong financial acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • 8Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational software.
