Service Engineer, Semiconductor Decommissioning & Equipment Handling
Overview
Owns decommissioning and preparation of TEL Cellesta+ and Screen equipment at scale, ensuring safety, traceability, and minimal production disruption. Works with cross functional teams to plan tasks and document everything for audit compliance. Focus on precise handling of sensitive equipment and adherence to environmental and site safety requirements. This role differs by combining hands on mechanical work with strict safety documentation and asset management.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build decommissioning plan for TEL Cellesta+ and Screen equipment ensuring safety and accuracy
- 2Shut down, purge, decontaminate, and decommission equipment to safelystandards while minimizing production disruption
- 3Identify, tag, label, inventory and document equipment components for traceability and audits
- 4Harvest reusable parts and prepare equipment for transport, recycling, or disposal
- 5Coordinate daily pre task planning with customer, engineering, operations and site teams to minimize disruption
- 6Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and site procedures and PPE requirements
- 7Map tool IDs to models (TEL Cellesta+, TEL PR300z, Screen SU3800, Screen SU3200) and ensure accurate records
- 8Complete site tasks in confined cleanroom spaces with proper PPE and safety procedures
- 9Communicate clearly with operations leadership and cross functional teams to relay status and risks
- 10Travel to other sites as needed to support decommissioning activities
