Field Service Technician, Semiconductor Equipment

You will own maintenance and repair of complex thermal management systems in a semiconductor fab, keeping 24/7 operations running. What You'll Do8
- 1Maintain and troubleshoot large thermal management systems to ensure stable and efficient operation in a semiconductor fab.
- 2Diagnose equipment issues with a 50/50 split of electrical and mechanical work, using logic and schematics to find root causes.
- 3Repair vacuum systems, pumps, and other electro-mechanical components, minimizing downtime with constraint management.
- 4Install and service thermal management systems to support business growth and expansion.
- 5Document work in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to track issues and communicate with the team.
- 6Train and cross-train teammates on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting methods.
- 7Follow strict safety and cleanroom protocols, including wearing a bunny suit and respirator, when working with hazardous materials.
- 8Escalate complex issues to senior team members and collaborate with the client to resolve equipment problems.
Requirements10
- 12+ years of electro-mechanical experience in maintenance, repair, or field service.
- 2Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems, including reading schematics.
- 3Experience using hand tools, power tools, and a multimeter for diagnostics.
- 4Exposure to vacuum systems, pumps, and mechanical assemblies.
- 5Strong problem-solving skills to logically diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- 6Basic math skills and computer literacy with Microsoft Office.
- 7Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces while standing for extended periods.
- 8Comfort working in a cleanroom and wearing a respirator for significant portions of the shift.
- 9High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a technical field preferred.
- 10Experience with thermal management systems or in a semiconductor cleanroom environment is a plus.
