Senior Project Manager - Industrial Construction
Overview
You will own delivery of large-scale industrial construction projects in Phoenix, Arizona, managing $50M+ budgets and cross-functional teams. You'll work with Turner & Townsend's global network, coordinating architects, engineers, and supply chains. This role demands 5+ years of construction PM experience, with Procore, Excel, and PowerPoint as daily tools. You will drive best practices and process improvements, reporting directly to senior leadership.
What You'll Do10
- 1Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects.
- 2Analyze, track, and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
- 3Verify effective project governance, processes, and systems are used.
- 4Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
- 5Produce formal project status reports and other reports as required.
- 6Monitor progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure approved design standards are applied correctly.
- 7Manage interface between suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
- 8Manage flow of project information through regular meetings and written communications.
- 9Forecast and update key project milestones and budget.
- 10Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria.
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
- 25+ years managing industrial construction projects, with strong organizational and management skills.
- 3Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools.
- 4Strong communication and presentation skills.
- 5Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with broader team.
- 6Experience with cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance.
- 7Knowledge of SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
