Senior Project Manager, Construction Management
Overview
You own the full project lifecycle for multiple concurrent program and construction management projects across the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. You lead project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as the primary client contact. You will mentor and develop staff while supporting operational needs such as staffing and process improvement. What You'll Do8
- 1Manage full project lifecycle for 5-10 concurrent projects from planning through closeout, using Primavera P6 and MS Project for scheduling.
- 2Lead project staff of 3-5 direct reports, providing coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to build a high-performing team.
- 3Own project budgets up to $50M, tracking costs and resource allocation to deliver on time and on budget.
- 4Serve as primary client contact for public sector clients, ensuring proactive communication and satisfaction.
- 5Drive operational improvements by refining staffing plans, resource forecasting, and internal reporting for the Dallas office.
- 6Review design and construction documents to enforce quality standards and OSHA safety compliance.
- 7Support business development by crafting proposals and preparing interview materials for new project opportunities.
- 8Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to protect project timelines and budgets.
Requirements7
- 18-10 years of project management experience in construction or program management.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 3Proven track record managing and mentoring project staff directly.
- 4Ability to support operational functions like staffing and resource planning.
- 5PMP certification preferred.
- 6Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, and Primavera P6.
- 7Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience on public sector or government projects preferred.
