Overview

Own and execute complex Glass & Glazing and facade projects from acquisition to close-out, managing budgets up to $10M+ with P&L accountability. Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with architects, suppliers, and site personnel to deliver on time and under budget. What You'll Do9

  • 1Drive project profitability from bid to close-out, managing P&L, accrued costs, and final buyouts to finish under budget.
  • 2Lead project teams, mentoring Project Engineers and Assistant PMs to hit milestones and maintain quality.
  • 3Oversee full project lifecycle: issue RFIs, review submittals, process change orders, and manage punch lists and close-out docs.
  • 4Coordinate with clients, architects, and structural engineers to align on curtainwall, storefront, and sunshade specifications.
  • 5Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and shop drawings to ensure exact execution of architectural intent.
  • 6Track project schedules and budgets using Procore and Microsoft Project, updating stakeholders on progress.
  • 7Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors on ACM panels and glass systems to control costs and quality.
  • 8Resolve site issues promptly, making critical decisions independently to keep work on track.
  • 9Deliver final project documentation and ensure all close-out requirements are met for client sign-off.

Requirements8

  • 15-10+ years managing Glass & Glazing or commercial facade projects, including storefront, window wall, curtainwall, and structural glass.
  • 2Proven ability to manage P&L, including estimating, cost control, and finalizing projects under budget.
  • 3Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and close-out documentation.
  • 4Skilled in reading blueprints, specifications, and structural drawings to ensure design intent.
  • 5Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) and Excel for cost tracking.
  • 6Strong leadership and communication skills with clients, architects, suppliers, and field crews.
  • 7Self-sufficient and decisive, with a track record of making critical project decisions under pressure.
  • 8Demonstrated desire for professional growth, with plans to move into general management.
