Project Manager Commercial Glazing SoCal
Overview
Lead end-to-end execution of commercial glazing projects across SoCal. The manager will drive project kickoff through closeout ensuring client satisfaction and contractual compliance. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits.
What You'll Do17
- 1Manage multiple commercial glazing projects from award through final completion
- 2Review contracts drawings specifications and project documents to understand scope
- 3Prepare and manage project schedules budgets procurement and material releases
- 4Coordinate submittals shop drawings RFIs samples and other documentation
- 5Review shop drawings ensure compliance with contract documents and specifications
- 6Coordinate material procurement monitor production schedules and lead times
- 7Work closely with field superintendents installers and project teams to support installations
- 8Attend project meetings job walks and coordination meetings with owners architects and contractors
- 9Manage project budgets labor costs and job profitability
- 10Prepare and negotiate change orders track project cost impacts
- 11Process billing schedule of values forecasting and project financial reporting
- 12Monitor schedules identify potential risks or delays resolve issues and coordinate solutions
- 13Maintain accurate documentation in Procore Smartsheet and other systems
- 14Ensure quality safety and contractual requirements are met
- 15Oversee punch lists closeout documentation warranties and final project turnover
- 16Build relationships with clients vendors and project partners
- 17Support continuous improvement of project management processes
Requirements11
- 1Minimum 5 years project management experience in commercial glazing industry
- 2Strong knowledge of storefront systems curtain walls architectural glass commercial doors mirrors and glazing systems
- 3Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings structural drawings specifications and shop drawings
- 4Experience managing commercial construction projects from award through closeout
- 5Strong understanding of submittals RFIs procurement change orders billing scheduling and documentation
- 6Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word Outlook and Microsoft Office
- 7Excellent communication negotiation leadership and organizational skills
- 8Valid driver’s license with clean record
- 9Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering Architectural Engineering Engineering or related field
- 10Experience using Procore Smartsheet Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Project
- 11OSHA 30 Certification preferred PMP certification
