Overview
Nevell Group seeks a motivated Project Engineer to lead commercial construction projects in Brea. The ideal candidate will coordinate field operations and ensure cost schedule and quality targets are achieved. This role offers unique exposure to drywall and framing initiatives.
What You'll Do9
- 1Support the Project Manager and Superintendent in daily project coordination
- 2Manage project documentation including RFIs submittals change orders and drawings
- 3Assist with job site safety procedures compliance and documentation
- 4Monitor labor production budgets and schedules preparing regular progress reports
- 5Develop and track punch lists to guarantee timely project completion
- 6Review plans specifications and blueprints identifying and resolving technical issues
- 7Maintain clear communication among project teams clients architects and subcontractors
- 8Contribute to business development efforts strengthening client relationships
- 9Analyze performance metrics and provide actionable insights for process improvements
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering Architecture or related field
- 22+ years of equivalent experience in commercial construction preferably drywall framing or wall systems
- 3Strong grasp of construction processes scheduling and coordination
- 4Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings accurately
- 5Excellent communication problem solving and organizational abilities
- 6Proficiency with project management software Microsoft Office and accounting systems
- 7Detail oriented with capacity to handle multiple priorities effectively
