What You'll Do8

  • 1Lead architectural design and pre-construction workstreams from concept through construction documentation on $400M+ projects.
  • 2Select, negotiate, and direct external architectural and engineering consultants to deliver top-tier results.
  • 3Review design phases (SD, DD, CD) for constructability, elegance, and financial alignment.
  • 4Coordinate with interior designers and senior developers to integrate luxury finishes and systems.
  • 5Drive entitlement navigation and permit approvals for complex, large-scale developments.
  • 6Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring milestones hit without sacrificing design intent.
  • 7Resolve design conflicts between drawings and field conditions, keeping construction on track.
  • 8Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, and engineering partners.

Requirements8

  • 17+ years in an architectural firm or owner-side development group managing complex, large-scale projects.
  • 2Bachelor of Architecture or related degree required; Licensed Architect preferred.
  • 3Experience in commercial, healthcare, hotel, or high-end residential projects.
  • 4Ability to see the big picture and navigate complex entitlements.
  • 5Proactive coordinator thriving in a collaborative, nimble team environment.
  • 6Strong understanding of constructability and design-phase deliverables.
  • 7Excellent communication and negotiation skills with external consultants.
  • 8Willingness to work hybrid schedule in Atlanta, Georgia.
