Construction Manager, High-Rise & Hospitality Development
Overview
You will own all construction phases from pre-development through turnover for South Florida's most complex high-rise projects. Serving as the Owner's Representative, you coordinate architects, engineers, and contractors with 10+ years of experience. You drive schedules, budgets, and quality across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. This role stands out for its direct collaboration with ownership and regulatory agencies.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead construction phases from pre-development through closeout, including TCO and CO processes.
- 2Act as the Owner's Representative, coordinating architects, engineers, and contractors.
- 3Review drawings and specs with Bluebeam and Procore to catch risks early.
- 4Drive contractor selection through prequalification, bid analysis, and award recommendations.
- 5Monitor progress and enforce schedule with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- 6Evaluate change orders, pay applications, and RFIs to control costs.
- 7Secure permits and inspections with municipal building departments.
- 8Run site inspections and enforce building codes and quality standards.
- 9Facilitate lender inspections and reporting requirements.
- 10Support closeout, punch lists, and turnover to operations.
Requirements9
- 110+ years in construction management with high-rise residential or hospitality projects.
- 2Deep South Florida experience, including Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach permitting.
- 3Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture preferred.
- 4Strong command of Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project.
- 5Proven track record as Owner's Representative with a real estate developer.
- 6Expertise in contract administration, budgeting, and value engineering.
- 7Ability to read complex construction drawings and specs.
- 8Leadership and negotiation skills to align stakeholders.
- 9Physical ability for site walks and inspections.
