Senior Payroll Administrator, Multi-State Payroll
Overview
You will own the full-cycle, bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees at CCMC. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve discrepancies and administer garnishments. This role demands 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience and proficiency in ADP Workforce Now. You will support audits and drive continuous improvement in a values-driven community management company.
What You'll Do9
- 1Process full-cycle bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- 2Audit time and attendance records; calculate wages, overtime, and supplemental pay.
- 3Execute payroll changes including deductions, tax status updates, and employment changes (transfers, promotions, terminations).
- 4Calculate and distribute final wages in compliance with state laws.
- 5Resolve payroll discrepancies in collaboration with HR and Finance departments.
- 6Administer wage garnishments, child support orders, and tax withholdings.
- 7Maintain accurate employee data in payroll and HRIS systems.
- 8Oversee paycard enrollment and distributions.
- 9Assist in internal and external payroll audits and support process improvements.
Requirements6
- 15+ years processing multi-state payroll.
- 2Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ADP Workforce Now.
- 3Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance standards, and tax requirements.
- 4CPP certification preferred.
- 5High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- 6Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
