- 1Define engineering strategy architecture roadmap for data security capabilities spanning classification discovery DLP cloud protection SaaS posture
- 2Lead engineering teams responsible for DSPM SSPM DLP platforms data classification services integration
- 3Drive engineering for DLP policy enforcement across endpoints network egress email cloud storage generative AI surfaces
- 4Build maintain cloud data security controls across AWS Azure GCP including storage security data plane visibility remediation
- 5Establish mature SaaS security posture management capabilities including data exposure discovery third-party app risk configuration enforcement
- 6Ensure data security engineering aligns to data minimization least privilege encryption in transit at rest auditability
- 7Partner with Legal Privacy Compliance Engineering to translate regulatory requirements GDPR CCPA SOC 2 FedRAMP into engineering controls
- 8Drive adoption of automated classification sensitivity tagging policy enforcement reducing manual data handling risk at scale
- 9Partner with IAM Engineering on data access governance entitlement visibility access-based risk reduction
- 10Lead and grow high-performing data security engineering organization with strong technical ownership delivery standards production readiness
- 11Drive active adoption of latest AI-assisted engineering security tools with proven proficiency not just awareness
Requirements12
- 18+ years experience in data security security engineering enterprise domains
- 23+ years leading engineering teams for data security platforms DLP DSPM SSPM cloud protection
- 3Hands-on experience with DSPM platforms for sensitive data discovery classification risk quantification
- 4Hands-on experience with SSPM platforms for SaaS configuration posture data exposure third-party risk management
- 5Deep knowledge of data classification frameworks sensitive data discovery automated tagging labeling
- 6Design and operate DLP controls across endpoints network cloud storage email SaaS applications
- 7Secure data in cloud environments across AWS Azure GCP including storage security governance visibility tooling
- 8Strong understanding of data-centric regulatory requirements GDPR CCPA SOC 2 translating into engineering controls
- 9Experience integrating data security controls with identity endpoint network security domains
- 10Proficiency in APIs automation observability secure platform delivery
- 11Demonstrated proficiency with current AI-assisted engineering tools coding assistants AI-driven detection automated triage improving team output outcomes
