Lead Engineer Cloud Security Target
Overview
Design and own the Cloud Security team software portfolio setting technical direction and roadmap for enterprise remediation dashboards. Lead design development and operation of findings pipeline ingesting signals from CSPM CNAPP IaC scanning admission control and SSPM. Build scalable backend services in Kotlin Java Spring Boot handling event driven and request response scenarios. Own ownership attribution and noise reduction problems ensuring high signal quality. Integrate services with SIEM SOAR ticketing and developer platforms. Operate services with SLOs and on call coverage.
What You'll Do11
- 1Serve as senior software engineering lead owning the Cloud Security team software portfolio setting technical direction and roadmap for enterprise remediation dashboards
- 2Lead design development and operation of findings pipeline ingesting signals from CSPM CNAPP IaC scanning admission control and SSPM
- 3Design and build scalable backend services in Kotlin Java and Spring Boot handling event driven and request response scenarios
- 4Own ownership attribution and noise reduction problems ensuring high signal quality
- 5Build integrations connecting team services to Target enterprise ecosystem including SIEM SOAR ticketing source control and CI CD
- 6Operate services as production systems owning availability performance observability capacity deployment cadence and outage response
- 7Peer with platform engineers on CSPM CNAPP IaC scanning admission control and SSPM to define shared API and data contracts
- 8Partner with Detection Response to turn high signal posture and runtime findings into detections and support software needs
- 9Drive multi quarter initiatives from problem framing through rollout adoption and steady state operation
- 10Make pragmatic build versus buy decisions and own technical side of library framework and third party component lifecycle
- 11Treat team software portfolio as product investing in automation self service and platform thinking to reduce toil and scale coverage
Requirements11
- 14 year degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent 7+ years software engineering experience with strong track record leading complex backend systems
- 2Deep hands on experience with Kotlin Java and Spring Boot fluent in at least one additional modern language
- 3Proven tech lead experience owning software capability end to end at enterprise scale
- 4Strong background designing building and operating distributed event driven and data intensive backend services in production
- 5Experience building and operating findings pipelines aggregating signals from multiple sources deduplicating enriching and routing to enterprise remediation dashboards with SLAs
- 6Track record running production services with clear SLOs on call coverage change management and continuous improvement loops
- 7Expertise in relational databases cloud data warehouses schema design data migrations and data lifecycle considerations
- 8Hands on experience with public cloud GCP preferred AWS Azure and containers orchestration Docker Kubernetes at enterprise scale
- 9Strong understanding of automated testing unit integration contract regression and end to end and experience with CI CD source control ticketing
- 10Knowledge of observability practices metrics logging tracing alerting and SLOs and experience integrating backend services with developer workflows
- 11Understanding of secure software development practices and cloud native architectures solid grasp of AI ML and responsible use of AI assisted tools
