What You'll Do9
- 1Drive embedded collaboration by aligning security and infrastructure resources with evolving project needs, acting as the go-to analyst across high-impact domains.
- 2Design secure cloud architectures and micro-segmentation strategies with architecture, engineering, and network teams, using Azure, AWS, GCP, and Docker.
- 3Conduct comprehensive risk reviews for cloud and infrastructure solutions, identifying gaps and implementing proactive remediation with Zero Trust and NIST frameworks.
- 4Lead incident response and vulnerability management efforts, ensuring first-line subject matter expertise in security controls.
- 5Establish continuous feedback loops with embedded teams to minimize project drift and reduce rework, capturing lessons learned to formalize best practices.
- 6Assess and recommend embedding intensity for teams, tailoring support for critical operations and architecture-phase engagements.
- 7Mentor junior analysts, modeling collaborative behaviors and reinforcing a culture of learning and agility.
- 8Translate technical challenges into actionable business guidance for senior stakeholders, advocating for security and resilience.
- 9Manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and drive outcomes.
Requirements12
- 18+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, cybersecurity, and/or infrastructure in large-scale environments.
- 2Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
- 3Advanced experience with Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform, including architecture and automation.
- 4Hands-on expertise with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira, Bamboo, TFS, and TeamCity.
- 5Proven experience with micro-segmentation solutions, including policy design, deployment, and tuning.
- 6Practical knowledge of Docker containers and microservices architecture.
- 7Proficiency with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and packaging programs (MSI, rpm).
- 8Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and cloud/hybrid application architectures.
- 9Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancers, and network traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
- 10Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- 11Deep knowledge of security controls and frameworks like Zero Trust, NIST, and CIS.
- 12Ability to travel 10%, on average, to support embedded team collaboration.
