Overview
Lead building operations and ensure tenant satisfaction at Building Maintenance Systems Inc. Washington DC. This role owns maintenance activities and drives improvements across commercial properties.
What You'll Do9
- 1Perform building and systems inspections making necessary modifications to building systems
- 2Complete Preventive and Corrective Maintenance requests professionally
- 3Work with vendors to complete contracted work orders meeting expectations
- 4Maintain records reports and evaluations providing recommendations for maintenance operations
- 5Identify and help order parts materials equipment and supplies needed
- 6Manage Building Management System EMS as directed by Lead Chief Engineer
- 7Maintain clean engineering shop mechanical plant mechanical rooms and general appearance
- 8Follow all safety rules and regulations
- 9Perform related work as required
Requirements8
- 11-3 years maintaining equipment and systems in commercial buildings
- 2Advanced mechanical skills operating troubleshooting maintaining installing and repairing equipment
- 3Experience with HVAC equipment and technology
- 4High School diploma or equivalent effective communication in English
- 5Ability to lift 50 lbs walk distances kneel for one hour climb ladders
- 6Reliable transportation
- 7CFC Universal certification
- 8Pass government background check
