Overview
We seek a skilled Building Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC systems in commercial and institutional facilities. What You'll Do8
- 1Operate and maintain commercial HVAC systems including boilers chillers pumps cooling towers air handlers and VAVs
- 2Utilize Building Automation Systems to monitor and optimize building performance
- 3Troubleshoot electrical plumbing and mechanical issues independently
- 4Perform preventive maintenance while handling service calls and equipment emergencies
- 5Conduct inspections to verify safe efficient operation of building systems
- 6Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs
- 7Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS
- 8Ensure compliance with safety regulations building codes and company policies
Requirements6
- 15+ years maintaining commercial or institutional buildings
- 2Strong hands-on experience with HVAC mechanical electrical and plumbing systems
- 3Experience operating boilers chillers cooling towers pumps air handlers and related equipment
- 4Working knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- 5Ability to diagnose equipment failures and perform repairs with minimal supervision
- 6Comfortable responding to after-hours emergencies
