You report directly to the Chief Engineer and act as the primary on-site leader.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Supervise and train engineering staff, delegating tasks and enforcing safety protocols.
  • 2Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC systems, electrical panels, generators, and boilers.
  • 3Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pumps, fans, and VFDs using CMMS.
  • 4Monitor and record temperature, pressure, and water treatment readings for efficient operations.
  • 5Coordinate with vendors and contractors, obtaining RFPs for projects and repairs.
  • 6Respond to tenant service calls and resolve emergencies, including after-hours and weekends.
  • 7Manage snow and ice removal and perform locksmith duties as needed.
  • 8Recommend equipment upgrades and provide budget input for special projects.

Requirements10

  • 18+ years in commercial building engineering or maintenance.
  • 2High School diploma or GED.
  • 3Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • 4Experience reading blueprints, safety rules, and maintenance instructions.
  • 5Experience with pneumatic and DDC controls.
  • 6Proficient in Microsoft Office and email.
  • 7Universal CFC Certification.
  • 8DLLR Stationary Engineers License or equivalent.
  • 9DLLR Mechanical Apprentice License or better.
  • 10Excellent customer service and managerial skills.
