What You'll Do6

  • 1Design multilayer PCBs for reactor control and instrumentation, defining electrical architecture for mixed-signal systems.
  • 2Develop low-noise analog front-ends and ensure robust ADC/DAC integration.
  • 3Perform schematic capture, component selection, and PCB layout with signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC focus.
  • 4Bring up, debug, and validate hardware, including board-level testing and root-cause analysis.
  • 5Create and execute hardware validation and qualification test plans for performance, reliability, and environmental conditions.
  • 6Collaborate with firmware, FPGA, and DSP engineers to ensure seamless hardware/software integration.

Requirements8

  • 15+ years designing custom PCBs, including multilayer and mixed-signal boards.
  • 2Strong experience with Altium or Cadence for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • 3Solid understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, grounding, and EMI/EMC mitigation.
  • 4Experience with analog and mixed-signal design, including sensor interfaces and ADC/DAC integration.
  • 5Familiarity with high-speed interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet) and layout constraints.
  • 6Hands-on lab instrumentation skills (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs).
  • 7Ability to support system integration in a complex engineering environment.
  • 8Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
