Senior Electrical Engineer PCB
Overview
Radiant seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in full-stack PCB development for reactor control systems. You will own multilayer PCB design from requirements to deployment while leading electrical architecture for mixed-signal systems. This role differs by focusing on nuclear microreactor technology and offering unique benefits.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own multilayer PCB design for reactor control and instrumentation systems
- 2Define electrical architecture for mixed-signal systems including power distribution and analog front-ends
- 3Design low-noise analog front-end circuits integrated with ADC/DAC and digital subsystems
- 4Perform schematic capture component selection and PCB layout emphasizing signal integrity and EMI/EMC mitigation
- 5Develop high-speed precision layouts for sensor interfaces data acquisition and communication buses
- 6Bring up debug and validate hardware including board-level testing and root-cause analysis
- 7Create and execute hardware validation and qualification test plans for performance reliability and environmental conditions
- 8Collaborate cross-functionally with firmware FPGA DSP and engineers for seamless hardware/software integration
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 25+ years designing custom PCBs including multilayer and mixed-signal boards
- 3Strong understanding of signal integrity power integrity grounding strategies and EMI/EMC mitigation
- 4Experience with analog and mixed-signal design including sensor interfaces ADC/DAC integration and low-noise practices
- 5Familiarity with high-speed interfaces such as SPI I2C UART and Ethernet
- 6Hands-on experience with board bring-up debugging and lab instrumentation using oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers and VNAs
