What You'll Do9
- 1Own optical payload design calibration and image processing pipeline development
- 2Develop on-ground and in-orbit test strategy with AIT and OPS teams
- 3Create on-board and ground data processing architecture
- 4Guide systems engineer during CONOPS development
- 5Drive business development for optical payload customers
- 6Support test procedures and integration commissioning
- 7Contribute to Earth observation roadmap creation
- 8Collaborate with payload suppliers to define requirements and test activities
- 9Participate in launch and in-orbit commissioning activities
Requirements10
- 15+ years as space systems engineer on Earth observation missions
- 2Expertise in image quality metrics and imagery calibration geometric radiometric spectral
- 3Proficiency with optical payloads and imaging systems
- 4Python coding experience for at least one year
- 5Strong communication and organizational abilities
- 6Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced development environments
- 7Experience with AI and deep learning applications
- 8Familiarity with optics and detector technologies
- 9Knowledge of ADCS and navigation/flight dynamics
- 10International experience preferred
