Senior Controller - Labor Solutions Chicago
Overview
We seek an experienced Controller to lead financial operations at Labor Solutions, LLC. The role involves leading accounting functions supporting profitable growth and operational excellence. This strategic position partners with executives to drive financial insights.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead and oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- 2Develop and recommend financial strategies aligning with business goals
- 3Prepare and present accurate financial statements forecasts and management reports
- 4Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability
- 5Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor performance against objectives
- 6Develop and maintain financial systems internal controls and accounting processes
- 7Manage cost accounting activities including standard costing and variance analysis
- 8Monitor operating cash flow and support working capital management initiatives
- 9Oversee inventory management and cycle count programs
- 10Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- 11Support new business opportunities through quoting analysis capital investment evaluations and financial modeling
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field
- 2CPA or CMA designation preferred
- 3Minimum 5 years progressive accounting and finance experience
- 4Prior experience in manufacturing environment strongly preferred
- 5Strong knowledge of cost accounting inventory management budgeting forecasting and financial reporting
- 6Proficiency with Epicor ERP system
- 7Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities
- 8Experience with payroll budgeting and financial planning software beneficial
Salary Insight
$110 - $125k per year
