Overview
Lead financial department to coordinate among development operations risk management executive teams planning and managing all financial functions providing timely analysis of budgets results and forecasts managing transactional accounting areas including AR AP payroll and job costing driving close processes managing risk reporting and improving financial policies and controls supporting strategic objectives through collaboration with HR and management overseeing credit collections and project coordination preparing tax filings and financial forecasts providing decision support and analyzing financial statements.
What You'll Do18
- 1Coordinate financial planning across development operations risk management and executive teams planning and managing all financial functions
- 2Provide timely analysis of budgets results and forecasts
- 3Manage transactional accounting areas including AR AP payroll and job costing
- 4Drive close process based on monthly quarterly and annual reporting requirements
- 5Work with Risk Manager to lead insurance reporting and audits
- 6Evaluate and improve financial policies controls and processes for growth
- 7Assess process improvements and implement best practices
- 8Manage financial systems with CEO and executive team
- 9Hire train manage mentor and review staff work alongside HR
- 10Coordinate with project management leaders for employment practices
- 11Administer credit collections collaborate with operations and accounting
- 12Close coordination with project management generating cost reports analyzing work in progress and producing financial forecasts
- 13Complete tax related issues and filings
- 14Prepare regular and ad hoc reporting forecasting and analysis
- 15Provide financial and strategic decision support to management
- 16Coordinate internal and external financial statements and prepare budget presentations
- 17Oversee regulatory reporting and accounting policies
- 18Manage all financial audits
Requirements9
- 1BA/BS Degree in Accounting Finance or related field with MBA MS or CPA preferred
- 215 years minimum construction accounting experience
- 3Public accounting experience a plus
- 4Strong knowledge of Sage 300
- 5Excellent communication and team building skills
- 6Outstanding analytical skills and sound technical abilities
- 7Experience with construction ERPs
- 8Ability to hire train develop and manage accounting staff
- 9Proficiency in credit collections and project coordination
Salary Insight
$190 - $245k per year
