Overview
We seek an experienced hands-on Controller Office Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting and administrative operations while managing the Assistant Controller and accounting functions. This key position maintains accurate financial records manages accounting processes supports project operations and coordinates with outside providers. Construction accounting experience is strongly preferred.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage full-cycle accounting functions
- 2Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable
- 3Handle customer invoicing including AIA billing
- 4Maintain job costing and project financial information
- 5Prepare and maintain WIP reporting
- 6Conduct monthly bank and account reconciliations
- 7Process bi-weekly payroll and administration
- 8Track subcontractor documentation lien waivers and compliance records
- 9Assist with insurance administration
- 10Maintain organized audit-ready records
- 11Work with outside CPA on tax and financial matters
Requirements7
- 15+ years accounting experience including construction accounting
- 2Strong understanding of construction job costing WIP reporting and AIA billing
- 3Experience with accounts payable accounts receivable payroll reconciliations and month-end close
- 4Proficiency with Foundation Software
- 5Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and handle confidential financial information
- 6Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance Business or related field preferred
- 7CPA candidates encouraged to apply
