What You'll Do11
- 1Supervise coach and develop Senior and Staff Accountants through guidance and performance feedback
- 2Review accounting work products to ensure accuracy and policy compliance
- 3Oversee period-end close activities while maintaining ownership of key reporting areas
- 4Coordinate with finance leaders to align priorities and promote consistency
- 5Conduct analytical reviews of financial results and investigate discrepancies
- 6Maintain and enhance accounting policies and documentation
- 7Drive process improvements using automation and standardized workflows
- 8Independently resolve routine and moderate accounting issues
- 9Support audits and regulatory filings by providing timely information
- 10Lead cross-functional projects to boost visibility and execution
- 11Collaborate with leadership to address operational challenges
Requirements10
- 1Strong knowledge of US GAAP and general ledger accounting
- 2Advanced Excel proficiency for reporting and analysis
- 3Proven ability to lead and develop accounting professionals
- 4Understanding of close processes and internal controls
- 5Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 5+ years experience
- 6Public or corporate accounting background in a multi-entity setting
- 7Preferred experience in construction or real estate industries
- 8CPA required with potential for US licensure
- 9Familiarity with SOX 404 J-SOX and J-GAAP
- 10Experience with system changes and automation initiatives
