We seek an Assistant Controller to support the Controller in Sandy Springs. This hybrid role drives operational efficiency by leading accounting teams and improving reporting processes. The ideal candidate will enhance internal controls and mentor staff while delivering accurate financial outcomes.
What You'll Do9
- 1Manage day-to-day accounting operations
- 2Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
- 3Review journal entries and account reconciliations
- 4Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- 5Support budgeting and cash flow reporting
- 6Coordinate audit preparation and external reporting
- 7Develop and refine accounting policies and controls
- 8Mentor accounting staff and provide leadership
- 9Partner with leadership on financial initiatives
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 26+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 3Prior supervisory or leadership experience
- 4Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- 5Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel
- 6CPA preferred but not required
- 7Strong leadership and communication skills
