Overview
You own compensation program administration for LKQ's Corporate and Field teams, managing base pay, variable pay, and annual merit cycles at 5+ years scale. You lead market reviews, salary surveys, and job leveling while directing analyst work. This role centers on Excel, SQL, and survey tools, with direct support to HR and management on compensation strategy.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement compensation programs including merit, base, and variable pay for Corporate and Field employees.
- 2Lead annual merit cycles, bonus plan maintenance, and reporting for Corporate and Field teams.
- 3Drive market reviews for individual jobs and departments, analyzing data and submitting to salary surveys.
- 4Administer the compensation survey tool, ensuring data integrity and alignment with salary structures.
- 5Maintain the job description library, market pricings, and job leveling to preserve compensation structure integrity.
- 6Counsel HR, recruiters, and managers on compensation actions and policy administration.
- 7Audit compensation data with HRIS and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- 8Research compensation trends and model best practices, including legislative changes.
Requirements6
- 15+ years of compensation experience in a large complex organization.
- 2Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred.
- 4Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for reports and presentations.
- 5Knowledge of macros, relational databases, or SQL for data analysis.
- 6Strong analytical skills to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret graphs.
