Senior Compensation Analyst - Compensation Programs
Overview
Design and improve compensation programs ensuring competitiveness and compliance. Lead job evaluations and market analyses. Partner with HR and finance to align pay strategies with business goals. What You'll Do14
- 1Conduct job evaluations and pricing including FLSA classification determinations
- 2Maintain job architecture and create new job codes for alignment and internal equity
- 3Design and maintain salary structures and compensation guidelines
- 4Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations including minimum wage and FLSA
- 5Support merit and bonus cycles involving data collection validation system configuration and payroll coordination
- 6Serve as subject matter expert on compensation decisions and cycle processes
- 7Assist in developing manager and employee communication tools and training materials
- 8Manage compensation surveys using tools like Mercer WTW Radford
- 9Perform market pricing and internal equity reviews to ensure pay transparency and equity
- 10Conduct audits for job classification minimum wage compliance and compensation requirements
- 11Produce ad hoc reports using HR systems and tools
- 12Support total rewards initiatives including living wage studies and regulatory reporting
- 13Provide guidance on compensation philosophies and policies to leaders
- 14Contribute to Total Rewards communications about compensation practices
Requirements12
- 1Bachelor's degree in human resources business administration finance economics mathematics data science related field
- 2CCP certification preferred
- 3Minimum 5 years progressive compensation experience
- 4Proficiency with compensation survey tools such as Mercer WTW Radford
- 5Experience with HR systems like Workday SAP or Oracle
- 6Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP pivot tables and macros
- 7Strong analytical thinking and problem solving abilities
- 8Excellent communication skills for explaining compensation concepts
- 9High attention to detail confidentiality and organizational skills
- 10Ability to collaborate and influence HR and business partners
- 11Physical requirement prolonged sitting computer work occasional lifting 15 pounds
