Overview
Senior Manager Global Compensation Programs at Shift4 Payments leads design implementation governance of global compensation programs aligning with pay philosophy business strategy and global growth objectives. This role partners with HR Finance and business leaders to develop competitive equitable scalable pay structures and incentive programs attracting retaining motivating top talent.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead design management continuous improvement of global compensation programs including base pay structures incentive plans and equity frameworks
- 2Oversee annual compensation planning process merit bonus and equity cycles in partnership with HR Operations and Finance ensuring accuracy consistency and budget adherence
- 3Develop and maintain global salary structures pay bands across functions geographies and job levels ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness
- 4Conduct and oversee market analysis using global compensation surveys such as Radford Mercer and Aon to align with market positioning
- 5Manage compensation governance policies compliance including global pay transparency pay equity reviews and local labor regulations
- 6Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide strategic guidance on offers promotions and retention initiatives
- 7Lead compensation projects such as job architecture alignment system implementations Workday Advanced Compensation and acquisition integrations
- 8Develop and deliver compensation education communications and tools enabling informed pay decisions
- 9Collaborate with Total Rewards and Finance teams to forecast compensation spend assess cost implications and monitor trends providing strategic recommendations
- 10Analyze compensation data identify trends and best practices offering strategic advice to senior HR and business leaders
- 11Influence and partner with HR Finance and business leaders across geographies to drive effective outcomes
Requirements8
- 1Minimum 7+ years progressive experience in compensation or total rewards with global program management required
- 2Deep understanding of compensation strategy market pricing job evaluation and incentive design
- 3Advanced analytical skills proficiency with Excel experience with Radford Mercer or Workday Advanced Compensation preferred
- 4Strong project management organizational skills managing multiple programs simultaneously
- 5Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with HR Finance and business leaders across geographies
- 6Knowledge of global regulatory requirements including pay transparency FLSA and EU pay directives
- 7Excellent communication storytelling skills translating data into actionable insights
- 8Experience in high-growth fast-paced or global technology environments preferred
