Overview
The Senior Accountant will own construction project costing and month-end close for multiple entities at CV Resources' internal consulting team. You will engage with diverse clients and industries while maintaining stability and the benefits of a permanent position. What You'll Do9
- 1Build and maintain job costing and project accounting processes across multiple entities.
- 2Design and execute month-end close and journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- 3Own reconciliations and GL maintenance for diverse projects and units.
- 4Drive improvements in AP/AR workflows and internal controls across engagements.
- 5Ship actionable financial reporting for management and client teams within 90 days.
- 6Lead cross-functional collaboration with accounting teams and ERP system users.
- 7Scale processes to support varying project scopes and client environments.
- 8Debug and troubleshoot accounting issues in new environments and systems.
- 9Own the onboarding and knowledge transfer for new engagements to accelerate teams' ramp-up.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience with construction, real estate, or project costing backgrounds
- 3Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- 4Proficiency in ERP systems; exposure to Yardi, Viewpoint, Sage, NetSuite, or similar platforms is a plus
- 5Ability to adapt to multiple entities, projects, or business units and learn new systems quickly
- 6Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-team environments
- 7Comfort with a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
- 8Demonstrated reliability in a permanent, full-time role with the CV Resources internal team
