What You'll Do10

  • 1Build project billings and client invoices to ensure timely cash flow and accurate revenue recognition
  • 2Track budgets, costs, cash flow, and financial reporting to provide forecasts and insights for project decisions
  • 3Own accounts receivable and support collections efforts to reduce days outstanding
  • 4Manage purchase orders, subcontract financial documentation, and compliance requirements
  • 5Coordinate trade partner invoicing and lien release processes to keep projects compliant
  • 6Support project setup and accounting system administration to streamline workflows
  • 7Partner with Project Managers to provide accurate financial data and forecasting
  • 8Assist with project closeout activities, final billings, and reconciliations
  • 9Ensure compliance with contract requirements and accounting standards
  • 10Collaborate with Operations and Leadership to drive continuous improvement

Requirements10

  • 13+ years of construction accounting or project accounting experience
  • 2Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • 3Experience managing project budgets, billings, and cost reporting
  • 4Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • 5Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
  • 6Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • 7A proactive, team-first mindset and desire to continuously learn
  • 8Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 9Experience with Vista (Viewpoint), Timberline, GC Pay, or similar construction accounting software
  • 10Experience supporting commercial construction projects
